Breast implant removal with fat transfer is a natural alternative for women who wish to remove their implants while maintaining or enhancing their breast shape. During this procedure, the implants are carefully removed, and fat is harvested from another area of the body—such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs—using liposuction. The purified fat is then strategically injected into the breasts to restore volume and create a soft, natural-looking contour. This approach not only eliminates the need for implants but also provides the added benefit of body sculpting from the fat removal process, giving patients a more balanced and rejuvenated silhouette.

Dr. Khoobehi utilizes a 3D vectra machine to help aid in the visualization of the breasts by modifying the images. These images will be discussed with the patient at the consultation appointment to assure expectation are met.

STEP 1: IMPLANT REMOVAL

Dr. Khoobehi doesn’t just remove silicone and saline breast implants, he removes all material from leakage as well as the breast capsule (the scar tissue that forms after breast implants are placed).

STEP 2: FAT TRANSFER

Fat transfer is used to create natural volume to the breast. During this procedure, fat is removed from the donor sites via liposuction. A vibrating technique is used which allows for a complete separation of the fat so that only healthy tissue is used for reinjection. This fat is prepared and slowly reinstated into the body part where shape and contour are needed.

Since the fat is often harvested from “problem areas” such as the abdomen, buttocks and thighs, the technique helps many patients attain the attractive and natural-looking overall physiques they desire.
